Just a five minute drive from Caerleon is The White Hart Village Inn, a charming Country Pub situated in the pretty village of Llangybi in the picturesque Usk Vale - a location renowned for its Trout and Salmon fishing - is the historic White Hart Village Inn, originally dating from the 12th century.

The White Hart is a beautiful historic building that after a period of extensive renovation and restorative works re-opened in April 2007 under the new ownership and management of The Pell Family.

A venue with real character, its rich history has seen it at one time under the ownership of Henry VIII as part of Jane Seymour's wedding dowry; a century later serving as Oliver Cromwell's headquarters in Gwent while latterly featuring in the T.S. Eliot poem 'Usk'.

In the meantime all that remains to say is that we look forward to seeing you soon.

Our accommodation is comprised of two characterful rooms are located on the first floor of The White Hart Village Inn, within the Victorian extension originally built as Stables. As such they are rich in character with exposed beams in sloping ceilings, complemented by simple yet timeless décor.

The Main Bedroom has a Double-Bed and en-suite with new bathroom suite comprising shower, sink and WC. If required the adjoining Second Single Bedroom can also be made available to provide a family suite to accommodate two adults and a child (we accept children aged 12 or over) or third adult.

About our Menu
From Tuesday to Saturday (12.00pm till 2.00pm) and Wednesday to Saturday (6pm till 9.30pm) our Menu has been carefully chosen to provide an enticing selection of traditional rustic and gastro-fayre. Your visit will be completed with a range of beautifully presented, sumptuous desserts.
