Paul Fosh started his career in estate agency in 1987 when he joined a firm of general practice estate agents called Hartnell, Taylor, Cook as a trainee negotiator. Shortly after starting, the firm was taken over by a major lender. Paul stayed with the company for nearly 10 years managing a number of offices and subsequently running the Corporate Business division for Wales and the South West. During this time Paul worked alongside a busy auction department generating business for auctions being held in Cardiff, Bristol, Plymouth and Southampton.
1997 saw Paul make a decision to leave the Corporate World to set up an auction department for an expanding firm of estate agents in South Wales. Over the course of nearly four years, Paul built the auction department up to be the largest auction house based in South Wales with additional auctions being held in Bristol and Plymouth.
In 2001 the time was right for Paul to go out on his own and in February Paul Fosh Auctions was born. Paul was joined by senior staff Julia Whitton and Sean Roper and the business has grown year on year. Paul Fosh Auctions is now widely regarded as being the leading auction house in Wales. Continued growth and expansion is planned for the future as well as the increased use of technology to assist buyers and sellers many of whom are located outside of the area.
